Is he not the cutest? With all those cute rolls, smooshy face and perfect little pout, momma S has a stud on her hands.
As the youngest of three boys, he was great to work with, it just took a bit to get him into that deep, deep dreamland sleep. Then it was a breeze.

It was a strangely chilly evening when I met with little Miss E and her parents and her grandparents home in Harrisonburg. We had not planned for lower temps, so there was a lot of sweet snuggling in between shots. Then we eventually ended up inside to finish up her first set of portraits.
Such a darling little one, just loved those sweet snuggles from her mom and dad. This is one of the final shots from the day. :) Funny how that goes. Enjoy!

I wanted to write up a quick posting today about this past Sunday, the 2nd annual OhBaby Expo.
We had a great turnout this year, with the attendance at least quadrupling. We had a line of 30 people before the doors even opened. All the swag bags were given out within 40 minutes. It was a great day. I’ve already started planning for next year, ways to make it bigger and better.
If you didn’t come out, then you don’t know who won the Cutie Pie Contest. I am astounded by the results. We had over 800 total votes with the winner receiving 285 votes! Second place received 176. Well done winners!
So you’re asking, who won? The grand prize winner of a $200 SRS gift certificate was sweet boy Jackson I!

After my string of two sweet baby girl newborn sessions, a little boy was a wonderful change. He was just wonderful. Period. Such a gorgeous little face, born almost 4 weeks early. That’s two newborns that have come early, and I know their mommas have said Thank you.
We just met last week, after meeting his sweet mom a few weeks ago to chat at her pre-session consult. But I don’t know if my GPS wanted us to meet. It took me to the opposite side of town to a field. Frantically I called and she pointed me in the right direction. Silly google maps.
Such a sweet little boy he was. Super snuggly and super loved. His Grandma came all the way from California to spend his first few weeks with him. He is a very loved little boy.

This little darlin’ was number two in my back-to-back newborn sessions the other week. She arrived a few weeks early, which I know was not only a welcomed change by her momma, but also by me. We had scheduled her newborn session for May 4, only two days before the 2nd annual OhBaby Expo. I was quite pleased to hear of her highly anticipated arrival.
She was also the most wonderful end to my double baby session weekend. She was amazing, doing every pose I asked of her. She might be potentially my best little poser so far.
